The best grass for your lawn depends on your location, soil type, and how much sunlight your yard gets. In Florida, popular choices include St. Augustine, Zoysia, and Bahia grass. St. Augustine is perfect for shady areas and thrives in warm climates. Zoysia is a great option for low-maintenance lawns with its drought tolerance, while Bahia is ideal for sandy soils and areas with less irrigation. Our expert team can help you choose the best variety tailored to your needs and provide professional installation for a healthy, beautiful lawn.
When selecting pavers for your driveway or patio, consider factors like the material, color, and durability. Concrete pavers are cost-effective, versatile, and easy to maintain, making them great for driveways and patios. For a more luxurious look, natural stone pavers such as travertine or flagstone offer timeless appeal and exceptional durability. The paver pattern is also important—herringbone or basketweave patterns are popular for both aesthetics and strength. Our team can guide you in selecting the perfect paver style for your space, ensuring a lasting and beautiful result.
The cost of installing a retaining wall varies based on factors like the size of the wall, materials used, and the complexity of the installation. On average, residential retaining walls range from $15 to $30 per square foot. For commercial projects, the cost can be higher due to larger dimensions and the use of heavier-duty materials. Materials like concrete blocks are typically more affordable, while natural stone or brick walls tend to cost more. Our team will provide a detailed estimate after assessing your project needs and the site.
Poor drainage can lead to flooding, lawn damage, and erosion. The best solution depends on the severity of your drainage issue. We can help by installing a French drain, surface drains, or regrading your lawn to direct water flow away from your foundation. For severe issues, a swale or dry creek bed can redirect water effectively. We’ll assess your yard's needs and implement a solution to keep your landscape healthy and water-free.
A landscape renovation involves transforming your outdoor space into a functional and beautiful environment. The process starts with a consultation to assess your needs and vision. We’ll design a custom plan that includes elements like hardscaping, planting, irrigation, and lighting. After approval, we proceed with installation, ensuring everything is completed to your specifications. We also provide ongoing maintenance to keep your landscape looking pristine.
The best plants for your Florida garden depend on your region’s climate, soil type, and sunlight availability. In general, native plants like palms, hibiscus, and Bougainvillea thrive in Florida’s environment. For shaded areas, consider ferns or azaleas, and for sunny spots, lilies and shrubbery work well. Our team will help you select the right plants for your garden’s needs and install them professionally.
Proper care after sod installation is crucial for healthy growth. Immediately after installation, make sure to water your sod thoroughly. Keep it moist for the first few weeks, watering daily. As the grass roots establish, you can reduce watering to 2-3 times a week. Mowing should begin when the grass reaches about 3 inches, but avoid cutting it too short. We also offer ongoing lawn care services to ensure your sod thrives for years to come.

Installing a paver driveway involves several steps. First, we prepare the site by excavating the area and ensuring proper drainage. Next, a base layer of crushed stone is laid to provide stability. After that, we carefully install the pavers, making sure they fit together seamlessly. Finally, we secure the pavers with sand and compact them for durability. The result is a durable, visually appealing driveway that enhances your home’s exterior.

Pavers are highly durable and can last decades in Florida's climate, especially if installed correctly. Concrete pavers, in particular, are built to withstand Florida’s intense heat, humidity, and frequent rain. They’re resistant to cracking, fading, and weather-related damage. With proper care and maintenance, such as sealing your pavers periodically, they can stay looking great for 20 to 30 years or longer, offering great value for your investment.
Yes, pavers have several advantages over concrete. While concrete can crack over time due to shifting, pavers offer flexibility, meaning they’re less likely to crack. Pavers also allow for easy repairs—if one paver becomes damaged, you can replace it without affecting the surrounding area. Additionally, pavers offer more design flexibility in terms of color, pattern, and texture. Their ability to drain water efficiently makes them ideal for Florida’s heavy rainfall.
Nowadays they are the same cost!
While installing pavers yourself is possible, it’s a complex process that requires the right tools, skills, and knowledge of grading and base materials. Improper installation can lead to uneven surfaces or water pooling. Hiring a professional ensures your paver patio, walkway, or driveway is installed properly, with proper drainage and a solid foundation. Our team offers expert paver installation for a flawless result.
The best time to plant Zoysia grass in Florida is during the late spring to early summer months when temperatures are warm enough for the grass to establish roots. Zoysia thrives in full sun but can tolerate some shade, making it versatile for Florida lawns. If you plant it during these warmer months, you’ll have a full, healthy lawn by fall. Our experts can help with professional Zoysia grass installation for your yard.
Florida’s tropical climate is ideal for a variety of vibrant flowers. Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Plumbago, and Ixora all thrive in Florida’s heat and humidity, offering colorful blooms year-round. For shady areas, Columbine, Angelonia, and Impatiens are perfect choices. We offer expert planting services to help you select the best flowers for your landscape and ensure they flourish.
Absolutely! Palm trees are one of the most iconic plants in Florida and thrive in the warm, sunny climate. Popular varieties include the Cabbage Palm, Royal Palm, and Areca Palm. Depending on your space, you can plant single-trunk palms for a more formal look or cluster palms for a tropical vibe. Our experts can help you select the right palm for your yard, ensuring it thrives for years to come.
If you want a low-maintenance garden in Florida, consider planting native species such as firebush, coontie, Florida anise, and blanket flower. These plants are adapted to Florida’s climate, meaning they require less water and are more resistant to pests and diseases. Additionally, succulents and ornamental grasses are great for low-maintenance landscaping because they thrive in Florida’s dry periods and hot sun. We can help you choose the perfect plants for your garden.
